Then He said to them,
"The Sabbath was made for man,
not man for the Sabbath.
So the Son of Man is Lord
even of the Sabbath."
(Mark 2:27-28)
Whenever the evil (unclean) spirits saw Him,
they fell down before Him and cried out,
"You are the Son of God."
But He game them strict orders
not to tell who He was.
(Mark 3:11-12)
He said to them,
"Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed?
Instead, don't you put it on its stand?
For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed,
and whatever is concealed
is meant to be brought out into the open.
If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear."
(Mark 4:21-23)
As Jesus was getting into the boat,
the man who had been demon-possessed
begged to go with Him.
Jesus did not let him, but said,
"Go home to your family and tell them how much
the Lord has done for you,
and how He has had mercy on you."
So the man went away
and began to tell in the Decapolis
how much Jesus had done for him.
And all the people were amazed.
(Mark 5:18-20)
