Portions: Deuteronomy 10-14

And now, O Israel,
what does the Lord your God ask of you
but to fear the Lord your God,
to walk in all His ways,
to love Him,
to serve the Lord your God
with all your heart
and with all your soul,
and to observe the Lord's commands and decrees
that I am giving you today for your own good?
(Deuteronomy 10:12-13)

Fix these words of Mine in your hearts and minds;
tie them as symbols on your hands and foreheads.
Teach them to your children,
talking about them when you sit at home
and when you walk along the road,
when you lie down and when you get up.
Write them on the doorframes of your houses
and on your gates,
so that your days and the days of your children
may be many in the land
the Lord swore to give your forefathers,
as many as the days
that the heavens are above the earth.
(Deuteronomy 11: 18-21)

See that you do all I command you;
do not add to it or take away from it.
(Deuteronomy 12:32)

You must purge the evil from among you.
(Deuteronomy 13:5)

Be sure to set aside a tenth
of all that your fields produce each year.
Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and oil,
and the firstborn of your herds and flocks
in the presence of the Lord your God
at the place He will choose
as a dwelling for His Name,
so that you may learn
to revere the Lord your God always.
(Deuteronomy 14:22-23)
