"They will know that I am the Lord,
when I disperse them among the nations
and scatter them through the countries.
But I will spare a few of them
from the sword, famine and plague,
so that in the nations where they go
they may acknowledge all their detestable practices.
Then they will know that I am the Lord."
(Ezekiel 12:15-16)

"'Because they lead My people astray,
saying, "Peace," when there is no peace,
and because, when a flimsy wall is built,
they cover it with whitewash,
therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash
that it is going to fall.'"
(Ezekiel 13:10-11)

"Therefore say to the house of Israel,
'This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
Repent!
Turn from your idols
and renounce all your detestable practices.'"
(Ezekiel 14:6)

The word of the Lord came to me:
"Son of man, how is the wood of a vine better
than that of a branch on any of the trees in the forest?
Is wood ever taken from it to make anything useful?
Do they make pegs from it to hang things on?
And after it is thrown on the fire as fuel
and the fire burns both ends and chars the middle,
is it then useful for anything?"
(Ezekiel 15:1-4)

"'But you trusted in your beauty
and used your fame to become a prostitute.
You lavished your favors on anyone who passed by
and your beauty became his.'"
(Ezekiel 16:15)
