. . . nothing that is honorable and good in any virtue
passes by successive stages
into what is dishonorable and evil:
it diminishes till nothing of it remains,
and then its opposite begins to make its appearance.
Therefore, heaven,
where all things are honorable and good,
has nothing in common with hell,
where all things are dishonorable and evil.
