Jehovah shall roar out of Zion,
and utter His voice from Jerusalem.
(Isaiah 1:2)
"To roar," and the "roaring of a lion,"
when predicated of Jehovah,
signify an ardent zeal for protecting heaven and the church,
and for saving those who are therein
by the Divine truth and its power,
which is done by destroying
the evils and falsities that rise up out of hell.
