AC 3994 - the wolf and the lamb

AC 3994 [3, 4]

The wolf shall dwell with the lamb,
and the leopard shall lie down with the kid;
and the calf and the young lion and the fatling* together,
and a little child shall lead them;
(Isaiah 11:6)

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox,
and dust shall be the serpents bread.
They shall not hurt nor destroy
in all the mountain of My holiness.
(Isaiah 65:25)

Where the "wolf" as above denotes
those who are against innocence;
and the "lamb,"
those who are in innocence.

In the original language
"lambs" are expressed by various names,
by which are signified the different degrees of innocence;
for as before said,
in all good there must be innocence to make it good;
consequently there must be the same in truth.

*also translated as yearling
