"Eden the garden of God"
signifying intelligence from the Lord through the Word,
for "Eden" as the "east," means the Lord,
and "the garden of God" is intelligence from Him;
and . . . true intelligence is acquired, that is, given,
solely through the knowledges of truth and good from the Word
understood according to its genuine sense . . .
. . . all beauty in the heavens is according to intelligence.
