Blessed are you when men shall hate you for the Son of man's sake.
(Luke 6:2)
"For the Son of man's sake"
is for the sake of Divine truth that proceeds from the Lord.
Divine truth is the All of faith in and of love to the Lord.
Because the evil deny these things,
and those who deny also hate them,
while the good acknowledge them,
therefore it is said that the good are blessed.
