It occurs to me...... sometimes the Ten Commnandments cause me melancholy or perhaps a regretful memory. While it is 'easy to enjoy' the commandment 'love thy neighbor as thyself' and to nod sagely, it is harder to LOVE the commandments to shun evil, and have no other primary 'gods'. I am praying today to begin to LOVE the commandments since they come from the Lord who is my abba Father! Swedenborg's revelations always help me to grasp the Word in a deeper way.
