Which no one could number (Rev. 7:9)
signifies that the Lord alone knows of what quality and how much of good and truth there is in them.
This is evident from the signification of "number",
as meaning what is the quality of a thing,
so "to number"
means to know the quality of a thing....
It also signifies that the Lord alone knows this,
as is meant by "which no one could number;"
for no man and no angel knows the quality of good and truth with another in every series and connection....
All of this no one sees but the Lord alone....
